Al-Adiyat

And then when they said that fajr has come, he said, "Allahumma ja'al khatimata amali salatul fajr." "O Allah, make the last of my deeds salatul fajr." And so he made his wudu, and he prayed his sunnah, and then he started to pray fajr.

And in the first rakah, he read Surah Al-Fatiha and Surah Al-Adiyat.

And then in the second rakah, he read Surah Al-Fatiha and another surah.

And then right as he turned his face to tasleem to the right, "Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah" to the right, as soon as he turned to the left, right after he said, "Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah," Allah took his soul, and he died in the place of his salatul fajr, radiallahu ta'ala anhu.

Everybody with me? وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا A lot of us may recite the Surah regularly.

But how often have we asked ourselves, what is Al-Adiyat? And then we find out Al-Adiyat is, you know, horses, battle horses.

SubhanAllah.

So you're telling me my entire life I've been reciting, And this verse is saying that Allah is swearing by the battle horses when they're panting.
