Akwa Ibom State

Very quickly, I'm not going to say so much here since I'm coming up, but many of you may not realize the kind of sacrifice it takes to...

We were with Dr. Panam two weeks or so ago in Akwa Ibom for a program, and then he was at another program.

And now when I heard about this remarkable work he's doing, you see, you are not successful just because you have personal results.

You are successful to the degree to which you can pour.

Okay, okay, okay.

I know, but I feel like it's Akwa Ibom.

Akwa Ibom is my dad.

So I'm also Igbo.

So I feel a certain level of like personal... personal connection to the work you have done and how you continue to represent a region that isn't exactly in the center when it comes to music and the music business.

Yeah.

You look at Akwa Ibom.

Akwa Ibom.

You're like, "Come on, man, we can do better." Like, why is that the case?

So the case with the South East or some of the Igbo states and, um, when, when compared to states like Akwa Ibom, like you rightly said, is no progressive or continuous, uh, what do they call it? Like leadership where this person will-

Continuity.

Yeah.

Turn by turn.

In committed, I brought a gentleman that died by accident.

He's an Akwa Ibom guy.

He died in an accident.

He was going to see his parents and died.

You know this gentleman, the one that I was talking about brought in committee, went to the family.

This thing happened on the expressway.

He, he moved... went to Akwa Ibom and found that he wants to go and help comfort his parents, and he went.

He would try to talk to the father.

Um, let me take a moment to honor a few persons in our midst who are deserving of honor.

It's my joy to appreciate His Excellency, Mr. Emmanuel Udom, the immediate past governor of Akwa Ibom.

So from all the thirty-six states, I wish I still remembered how I learnt it.

Adamawa, Yola, Abia, this Akwa Ibom, Uyo and that, that to Zamfara.

So you go ahead, um, make sure that if you are connected in Nigeria-- Please, if you are outside of Africa, I know that many African nations are still waiting.

So of course, the, the list of the Presidential Campaign Council was readjusted.

Positions were now given to the f- the Senate President, the Speaker of the House, Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, former g- uh, governor of Akwa Ibom State, Benjamin Kalu, you know, the Deputy Speaker, the Speaker of the House, all of them have gotten positions, you know.

And of course, um, Abdulaziz Yari still remains the director general of the Presidential Campaign Council, you know, of the APC.
