And so I wanted to go there in like in the winter.

And the only way to get to this place, Akiak, Alaska, and I had actually connected like to someone I knew in Alaska who was a professor who knew someone who knew someone who got me to this guy's house, right? And so it's January.

The only way to get to Akiak is to fly into Anchorage and then to take a dog sled plane.

So like you basically...

You go with cargo dogs like in the cargo.

And with this storm going on, I know it's getting pretty nasty out there.

Yesterday, I went up to Akiak by boat, and we were fortunate enough to get up there.

And special thanks to Mike Williams for showing us around out there, but also, you know, making sure that we got back in time before it got really nasty.

We tried to go through the shortcut to Church Slough to get up there, and the water there was so shallow.

Did you hear, Fritz, about the 200-barge traffic next year?

Yeah, that really concerns me because our river right now is very delicate and our river is changing.

And with erosion in our villages, Akiak is suffering terrible, terrible erosion, as well as the river and the riverbanks.

There was no beach on our river this summer.
