How much pressure do you reckon it will actually take off the existing roads between Dubai and Sharjah? Who will be driving on this route?

Well, here you're looking at an impact on the daily commuters that are flowing between Sharjah, Ajman and Dubai.

And here we're looking at a significant population during the daytime that is around six to seven million.

And that includes around two million of temporary visitors and workers.

So lanes alone would always lose that race.

That is applicable in Dubai, that is applicable in the Emirates, and that is applicable everywhere around the world.

That's why Dubai's executive council is also reviewing the highway and the integration of this highway and reviewing the mass transit between Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman and really reconsidering routes for BRT that will eventually feed into the metro infrastructure.

And the transit is planned in an integrated and a sequential way to ensure that the road infrastructure is well linked to the mass transit services.

In order to celebrate this tour, um, off our own back, we are taking our own tour of the seven emirates to find out, you know, each one and what it has on offer.

I started yesterday with Ajman.

Today we're going to Ras Al Khaimah.

And earlier I spoke to the CEO of the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority.

And that's where our strength is.

On a local level, Ajman, the UAE's smallest emirate, is actively opening up new avenues.

We are still boosting what the destination has to offer internationally and within the emirate itself.

We have discovered new markets that could be attracted to Ajman and we are investing heavily in bringing the awareness of what Ajman has to offer.

As this year's Arabian travel market, we can feel the strong push of the Middle East tourism to welcome global travelers back.

At the same time, Chinese exporters are stepping in with tailored solutions to meet the growing demand from the Middle

Yeah.

So you have Abu Dhabi, you have, uh, Dubai, you have Sharjah, you have Ajman, uh, you have, um, um, uh, Um Al Quwain, you have Fujairah.

So these six were the original members of the UAE.

Right.

In Abu Dhabi, got a 20-minute delay from Saadiyat Island going towards Jabail Island in Sharjah.

15-minute delay on E11 starting at Galleria Mall to Naima Street in Ajman.

30-minute delay on E88, 90 minutes on Etihad Road as well.

311, it is packed by International City.

But it made a lot of noise for a small scratch.

How many times have you had to take your hire car down to Ajman or Sharjah to get fixed on the cheap? More times than I'd like to admit.

I think...

One poor car hire company doesn't even know that you rebuilt the entire bumper.

Because if you're staying in the same area, then of course the reductions in your rent are going to be slightly less than if you then move completely outside of an area and decide to move literally because the rent over there is 50% less or something.

That's also why places like Sharjah and Ajman benefit, especially when the prices are going up.

People seek those areas.

When rents in Dubai are also coming down, perhaps less so because then people are actually moving the other way, thinking, oh, I can go back to Dubai, closer to work, et cetera.

Then RAK came along because of the casino.

Sharjah, Ajman, even Umm Al Quwain, they're Emirates that we don't talk much about in comparison.

But it just gives people different options, different price points.

And so I'm not surprised that these growth projections are there.
