Well, if the uptake of, uh, you know, driving through the tolls and getting yourself from Cork to Dublin or whatever is down, then, uh, it must mean that those taking the bus, the Aircoach, or the, uh, the GoBy or whatever, uh, take, uh, people from Cork to Dublin Airport and Dublin City must be up.

And possibly the train, uh, is, uh, up in usage as well.

But the day after the M9 crash, midnight journeys on sections of the Naas Road, the N7, halved, the a- analysis shows, and sections of the M50 in Dublin had 75,000 fewer vehicles in the weeks afterwards.

That's my opinion on it, anyway.

I mean, when, when, when you look at the cost of, uh, you know, the Aircoach or the GoBy or whatever the services Bus Éireann provide, o- outside of the private ones, and you look at maybe a 31 or 32 euro return from Cork City right to the door of Terminal 1 or 2, uh, you know, at 16 euros each way, and then you look at tolls, 230, um, in Watergrasshill, 230 on, uh, o- on the next one up, and then is it 320 or something, uh, on the M50 each way? So you're looking at the bones of 20 euros in tolls before you put fuel in the car or account for wear and tear.

Absolutely, yeah.
