Airborne Express

So I was a delivery driver.

I worked for a company called Airborne Express, DHL we became.

But the route I had at that time was working the dock.

And I remember I was sitting there cleaning up the dock, and we could hear the radio, you know, the guys on the radio as they were calling a dispatch and stuff.

So I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur.

I kind of grew up working for Airborne Express.

I had a stint with UPS.

I then left to start my own company called Bongo International back in 2007 with kind of the eyes of trying to help online retailers sell their products internationally.

And it's the scene when Harrison Ford is leaving the Naval Academy and he gets attacked on the street.

And a couple of moments before the attack happens, he walks past a dark gray van with the Airborne Express logo on it.

And we saw that it's just in the background.

It pulls away before he even gets attacked, I think.

And we both looked at each other and said, holy shit, Airborne Express.

Remember that? And, you know, for anybody listening who's of a certain age, Airborne Express is a delivery, was a delivery company that is no longer in existence.

It used to be like the number three delivery company after UPS and FedEx before it eventually got bought, I think, by BHL.

But it's one of those logos.
