So the sort of rabidly curious scientist in me is just fascinating to see how this plays out.

The other part of me, though, that works closely with the communities that have to figure out how to use what water we have is a lot more concerned because it's really easy to get our hopes up.

It's really easy to, you know, excuse the pun, but bet the farm on a big year.

We don't have the forecasting ability to see the future like that.
