Aiden Flora

I'm sick of shotgun single back handoffs.

Is it a read option or isn't it a read option? And if it is a read option, then we need to coach our quarterback on when to pull the ball more because our running back who we already are trying to make sure when he gets touches, and he i- in Florida got hurt for a play, but it was a scary moment.

Like, you know, this could be a serious deal if he, if, like, our best playmaker is out because we're just riding him way too much right now and he has nowhere to go.

But we cannot keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect something different to happen.

And on Saturday, the former Little League teammates hit a home run via a trick play.

Florida, now ISU's star tailback, hit Benetti, an emerging star at tight end, on a two-yard halfback toss for a touchdown, helping their team to a 45-42 homecoming win over West Virginia at Jack Trice Stadium.

It was just something special, said Flora, who scored five total touchdowns, three rushing, two passing, in the big win that precedes Friday's 9.15 p.m. clash with No. 8 BYU at Lavelle Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah.

Then just being on the sideline, giving him a hug, we've talked about it, two ADM high school guys going in there and connecting and both scoring a touchdown.

And you've got Aiden Flora throwing it in again, a two yard touchdown pass, a little bit of a trick play again to your tight end for a touchdown.

It's 21 to 14 at the break and the cyclones running back has two touchdown passes.

Out of halftime, Florida does it the old-fashioned way, a touchdown run to make it 28-14.

You've got two scores.

You're at home.
