Aidan West

Right

... where if you stop the run and you're forced to throw it against John Nestor and Aidan West, that's probably not gonna go well for you.

Right.

Where also another game where the Gopher defense goes on the road doesn't force a turnover.

Um-

But, like, here's what I would say.

Even Aidan West, Aidan West gets one thrown right to him.

Yeah.

Maverick Baranowski, who's, you know, a leader on this defense, uh, you know, making plays.

Aidan West, who was awesome yesterday, from start to finish was great yesterday.

The interception he made where he, you know, towards the sideline, he kind of bobbles it a little bit and he still manages to corral the ball and still gets a foot down, um, was, was incredible.

Just an incredible play, and he was outstanding.

Um, their corner duo has been pretty strong so far this year, and it's interesting because they're, the schools they got them from, you have a little question about.

They have John Nestor from Iowa as one field corner, where you're just kind of like, you know, if he was good, wouldn't he have stayed at Iowa? [laughs] And then, uh, Aidan West on the other side is an MSU transfer, which is always a, a red flag, uh, in the secondary as of late.

But those two guys have been off to a nice start to the year.

And as a whole, when Williams was targeting along the sidelines, the coverage was pretty good.
