Ahmad Jamal Trio

So I thought it was really important to talk about it today.

And also, the Ahmad Jamal Trio is just my favorite jazz trio of all time.

I learned a lot from just practicing along to their music.

A lot of my brush concept comes from playing along to their records and things like that.

It was this big, beautiful club, but it, it had, took a while.

So we would just play.

Like, each week we would try to learn as many Ahmad Jamal Trio, um, arrangements, and this is the one of the ones we really liked.

And, you know, sometimes, like, some, some drunken, like, you know, bros would come in there in New Orleans for, like, a weekend and be like, "Play some, some M- Mardi Gras, uh, Indian music.
