Agua fresca

That was really awesome to bump into a listener.

And, yeah, shared some Aguas Frescas and burritos, and life was spectacular.

So that was super cool.

But on my way out there, I actually realized I hadn't – the reason that we did the Dresden Files podcast, which is the precursor to this, is it's a book series that I would mostly listen to on the audiobooks about once or twice a year.

Yeah, so I'm excited for us to continue to build the brand in a way where we, at some point, will have more of a strong presence as a multi-category brand.

You know, we recently were talking about how we wanna come forward and, and kinda enter the space as a new brand, really using the agua fresca as, like, our main hero product that we put, like, all our efforts behind.

It really is truly, like, even a pivot within this new branding, which we're really excited about.

And Stephanie, how did you make the leap from, uh, retail into CPG? That's, that sounds like a very brave thing to do.

Um, and you know, I remember, like, going to, like, being all masked up, going to the grocery store.

There was a Latin market that was close by where I was living in Atlanta at the time, and just buying, you know, some of the fresh veggies and stuff like that.

And I was walking through the aisles, and there is a brand that does instant powdered agua fresca, um, but the ingredients are, like, es- essentially it's like a Kool-Aid ingredient list, right? I mean, it's just art- dyes, artificial things, uh, tons of sugar.

Nothing that resembled what an agua fresca should be, which is, like, fruit, you know, sugar, water, refreshing, hydrating.
