Uh, Bikini Kill is at the Agora tonight.

It's not Strauss and Shostakovich at the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra.

You know-

But his doctors have advised that he take a couple of nights off.

So they are rescheduling the Chicago show and the Cleveland show, which has been rescheduled for November 25th at the Agora.

So they're going to go, obviously, November.

I'm not going to be outside.

So Black Label will come back November the 25th at the Agora.

So if you've got tickets, whether you won them from us or you bought them, hang on to them.

I'm bummed.

It is Thanksgiving Eve.

And, you know, just a little backstory for the new fans who maybe don't know the story.

But I just happened to run into you at a docking show at the Cleveland Agora.

And it was just a strange coincidence that you had just recently moved into the area.

And it was like, what are you doing here? So I'll let you tell the story of how you ended up in the Cleveland area.

Well, Jamie, we reconnected here a little while ago because I asked you to do a little cameo in the upcoming 30th anniversary book for the Classic Metal Show because you and I have some history that goes back to Cleveland about 25 years ago.

And, uh, you know, just the little backstory for the new fans who maybe don't know the story, but, uh, I just happened to run into you at a dock and show at the Cleveland Agora.

And it was just a strange coincidence that you had just recently moved into the area.

And it was like, what are you doing here? So I'll let you tell the story of how you ended up in the Cleveland area.

Hopefully at some point you guys make it out to Cleveland, Ohio, so I can check it out in person.

We were at Cleveland, Ohio in the Agora with Mushroomhead in 2019.

That was wonderful.

All right.

Yeah, they do an annual Halloween show that's pretty big at the Agora.

Yeah, yeah.

Better.

Dying Fetus is doing this show end of October at the Agora with a bunch of other brutal bands.

It's going to be an amazing time.

And so I'm like, now, the reason that they kind of got me hooked in was with this clickbait is that Elton John, even though he's technically retired from touring and all that, he has always been famously open-minded and generous about with artists of any kind, right? People that you wouldn't think he...

I mean, back in the day, he was in his early 20s, and they were like, oh, he's bipolar, and he's a paranoid schizophrenic, and he's been institutionalized, but Say Anything was really having their moment.

As a matter of fact, they played, they were here, they played the Agora beginning of the year with this band called Motion City Soundtrack.

I gave away tickets, like last fall, they were opening it.

Now, neither of those bands is very good, But if you were a teenage girl in the mid-aughts, you loved them.

That's with two A's.

who was collabing with them, and now they've got music they can't do anything with, right? This other band can't put this music out, because now they have to disassociate themselves with this other band.

So say anything was more whiny, emo, incel music than anything else back in the day, but it turns out, if you saw them at the Agora, that's probably the last time you're going to see them.

because they've canceled everything they were going to do.
