Ageism

So it doesn't make a lot of marketing sense, but the marketing machine and most marketing departments and most advertising agencies are staffed with extremely young people Don't find older people very sexy, right? Understandably, a lot of us are pretty ageism baked into our educational and cultural systems.

So that's part of the challenge we're facing right now is how do we rebrand Q3 in particular? And I think you'll see there's been a pretty big change just in the last year or two with, you know, these famous movie stars that are older who are becoming more visible and well rewarded.

My friend Jacinthe Bassett runs an organization called Ageism is Never in Style.

She does a lot of that work with her mother where she is working in the fashion industry a lot.

to help them be more sensitive to the needs of their older clients and customers.
