Age of Anger

Most recently, you published The World After Gaza.

And before that, a few years ago, you published Age of Anger, which really felt like it captured the moment that you saw it back in 2017 and today feels even more relevant.

When you examine the world today, you're somebody that reflects a lot about the state of the world.

What do you see about our current moment?

There's a lot of things within Western modernity that we need to very carefully examine, scrutinize today.

And because those things also exist in different parts of the world, including India, the country that I come from, We need to really kind of broaden our gaze to answer your question.

I mean, I wrote Age of Anger because I felt that those problems that were once confined to one particular part of the world had now become truly global and oppressive in a way that they hadn't been before.

Problems of constituting a national community, of creating a sustainable economy, of meeting the demands for equality and freedom that are now universal.
