Agamotto

So, This is a continuation of that storyline from last time where we have like kind of two things going on, one in New Orleans and one in this monastery in like the middle of the Pacific.

So in the middle of the Pacific, we have Rogue and Gambit trying to figure out what's going on with the left eye of Agamotto.

So we pick up from there and that's how this starts.

But first we have a really... know fun cover the cover is almost like in a black and white sketchy way with like hits of color that's a big close-up on gambit's face and if you've forgotten which eye we're talking about there is a sketch version of the eye of agamotto over his left eye so you know it's that one um and this is wild ride part two so if you're just coming into this you missed a little bit but they always do those nice little recaps for like two seconds beforehand So we start with, we're in the monastery where Rogue and Gambit have gone to try and get help for Gambit with his now weird demon possession.

other people are crying.

And then I had Syndicate's Ascent, the Tangle, and Thousand Ocean Voyager.

And my train markers were the Orb of Agamotto, Heart-Shaped Herb, and Museum Display Case.

I did get to watch one of his games.

But I also had Motendo on my map list, which never really came into play.

And then my terrain markers were Orb of Agamotto, Archery Target, and Museum Display Case.

So...

My first opponent...

Ironheart, which was Force Blast, Pulse Wave, and Invulnerability.

And then Tony Stark, Sorcerer Supreme, that he would give Phasing, Pulse Wave, Prob, and ESD.

And then he also had the orb of Agamotto.

I went for a second.

There's a lot of really great artwork by Luciano Vesecchio.

I really like this sequence where the eye of Agamotto is like talking to him through the sentinels.

Oh, yeah, that's great.

That's kind of a cool little like splash rogue ripping a sentinel head off.

And Father Gabriel seems to have something up his sleeve.

So it seems like we're going to go after the left eye of Agamotto next and find some way to save Gambit maybe.

I don't understand the structure of this Louisiana world and why there are two other more experienced X-Men than Rogue and Gambit that are not...

Seen as leadership like that these kids are the world is so blown apart that Gambit and rogue have left that they have two other adults still there it would have been more impactful if Nightcrawler and Wolverine also had to leave for some reason the kids were literally like Alone and that's why these new people were coming in.

I don't understand this heightened problem And I just don't care about Gambit and the left eye of Agamotto and his right kneecap and the femur bone.

That's his left.

But maybe after that.

So the woman with the eye doctor glasses, I think it's the eye of Agamotto.

She's seeing shit.

Well, I think I called that early.

But regardless, whatever position Derek McDonald was battling for, it looks like he has won that position.

Jonathan Agamotto, I thought, was a guy that really got some nice buzz back in the spring.

And I thought that was a legitimate competition coming into the fall.

And I'll stick by that.

I still think it was.

But I really think that Agamotto...

Hasn't really been talked about that much, which kind of makes me wonder, has he been able to carry things over? While Derek McDonald, I think, has really just done the things that he's needed to do.

He's a guy that's appearing like he's one of the leaders for this group.
