After the Thin Man

Now, another clip I want to ask you about.

Early, I think this might be his fourth or fifth movie and a great film after The Thin Man.

I think it's the second Thin Man movie.

And talk about casting against type, although your dad really didn't have a type yet.

I've hated her, hated them both ever since she threw me over for Robert.

I've been planning and waiting and watching for the time to come when I could get even with them for ruining my life.

I can only imagine you maybe up late one night and you turn on the TV and there's after the thin man, you watch your dad playing a murderer that had to be a little off putting.

Well, I remember seeing that clip and thinking, well, maybe this is why dad never played bad guys.
