Why do coaches get treated with such disdain? And what is the AFL Coaches Association doing allowing that to happen? They've been

pushing against this

figure.

If

you're a recipient club, you can only sign a coach for two years.

But then the managers and the AFL Coaches Association said, why should GWS be disadvantaged, not being able to sign Damien Hardwick, for example, or Chris Fagan? When Collingwood, Craig McRae doesn't have a payout clause.

Chris Scott doesn't have a payout clause.

I think there's a lot of optimism still going into the off-season going into next year but there's a lot of work that still needs to be done to sort of bridge that gap between us and those top teams and you know we wouldn't be able to match it with them in games this year but ultimately fell apart and you know patches that just cost us those games weren't able to get over the line against those top teams so Disappointing.
