AEW Fight Forever

Like we had so much fun with it.

Um, so even to this day, if I'm going to play a wrestling game, I'm not going to the 2k series and I'm not going to the SmackDown series or, know raw versus smackdown i'm going to my my 64 i'm putting in revenge and that's the one i'm playing it's it's such a great game i mean it's it's always been so much fun to me and even to this day i mean you know we're we're so many decades removed from it and it still stands up but honestly all those aki wrestling games hold up there was just something about that engine that was a lot of fun and you know even now lot of people play the the 2k wrestling games and I really liked the one the AEW fight forever game even though I'm more of a WWE guy and what I watch the AEW game was a lot of fun it was very unfinished don't get me wrong it was not a perfect game at all but I The gameplay itself reminded me a lot of those old Nintendo 64 Aki wrestling games.

The vibe was very much that.

So I played that one a lot.

I haven't played it recently, but if you asked me to pick between the two modern wrestling games, whatever the current 2K is and that AEW Fight Forever game, I'll go to that AEW one.

because i enjoy more of that arcadey presence to it it's not as sim heavy which i think is what is wrong with a lot of modern wrestling games is they're too sim heavy so games like revenge no mercy wrestlemania back then they were just fun we just enjoyed them and we played them and they were relaxing and that was that was what we enjoyed about them so those are ones that i i really um really go back to when i want to play a good wrestling game so wwe nwo revenge october 26 1998 feels like forever ago probably because it was forever ago but yeah that one is one that i i highly value so the next one i want to talk about is fable 3. now this is an interesting one okay so this came out in 2010 right and i was not an xbox person back then um Whenever I came over to the PlayStation 1, I was still very much a Nintendo guy, but I fell in love with the PlayStation.

So after that, I just kept buying PlayStations and I bought every Nintendo console.

They hit the Poison Rhinos.

Fight Forever.

Chance Breakout.

Please give us another video game, Tony Khan.

And if that name sounds familiar, if you're an N64 wrestling guy, they're the ones that did WCW Revenge and WWF No Mercy.

Recently they did the AEW Fight Forever game, but that's a different story.

But people love their combat systems, and for them to get to do a beat-em-up, I'm like, okay, maybe they'll bring something new to the table.

And then the publisher was Arc System Works.

Raw or WWE 2K series, we've got four games, with most seeming to be one-offs.

AEW Fight Forever, which is three years old, WWE Battlegrounds, which is six years old, Fire Pro World, which is eight years old, and WWE All-Stars, which is 15 years old, which should really get a sequel.

Four games in 15 years.

Even bumping it to 20 years only gives us two more, with TNA Impact and WWE Legends of WrestleMania.

Not to bring it down, I just, I need, I have to, had to mention Pac.

And he was in, he was in AEW Fight Forever, so, uh, that's video game related.

And he was also in a couple of the WWE games.

Oh, and he was also in, uh, um, uh, whatever the fuck it's called.

I

still play the fucking Fight Forever game.

Last night I was playing Fight Forever while listening to a Carl Sagan book.

That's what I was doing last night.

What do
