But what about data centers that would be built online? in the sky.

It says Google, Cowboy Space, Origin, all of these entities have said they plan to build orbital data centers, which would likely consist of hundreds of thousands of satellites.

SpaceX says its StarMind orbital data center would have over a million satellites.

So now we go from trying to find real estate on the ground here that won't upset communities, What about the idea of data centers or maybe more of them in the sky in the future?

Oh, speaking of cowboys, we got, we got cowboy space doing the same thing too.

There's a, there's a company, I believe by an ex Robin hood founder, um, or maybe current, I don't know.

I don't know.

It still was Robin hood, but he, um, started this company called cowboy space that, um, is also attempting to launch and support a, uh, cloud, uh, in orbit.

But I guess long story short, it is interesting.

And then there's a cool sort of honk sound right at the end, illustrating that Archimedes is definitely getting closer to flight status.

Well, that's the new name that Etherflux has taken.

They've taken on another few hundred million dollars of investment to a $2 billion valuation.

So, first of all, thank you all for coming.

Welcome to the this first ever event that we're doing with the Cowboy Space Corporation called Big Sky Rising.

And we're excited to show you guys what we've been working on.

But the journey here has been about two and a half years of working on the company full time.

Like it felt like all the interesting stuff happened and that a lot of what NASA was when I was a kid, it felt kind of like a museum, right? And you'd be like, Here's an important part in human history.

And it just never really made sense to me why it wasn't still happening.

But the journey from there to what would become Cowboy Space was much longer.

So about two and a half years ago, started this company with a vision of building the first American energy company in space.
