The next big iteration of Changi, from what I understand, is going to be a huge redevelopment, basically creating an airport city to reference sort of Greg Lindsay's 2011 book Aerotropolis, effectively creating Aerotropolis on the far side of Changi Airport, relocating the passenger ferry terminal and the cruise terminal around it and creating a cultural district.
