Adric

I don't know why it exists, I think, is what I feel like when I'm watching it.

I'm thinking, why is this story where it is, especially coming where it does in the season, that they would have really no idea about what the finale of your first season is going to be? And especially the thing about not paying off anything about Adric's death in any meaningful way.

It just seems to have been reverse engineered from the fact that they could film a Concorde.

It's a very different way of, speaking to him

well and she's a bit older as well isn't she than rose and martha so it's going to be slightly different i'm not sure if i buy i mean it only it just serves the story doesn't it there's this fixed point in time where you know she she does the arguments that the audience are doing at home is like well you change stuff all the time every week why is this not and i think we have had this discussion at some point even in classic as well i think there's been a this this discussion of like well you change stuff all the time why can't you change this and he's like well there's fixed points in time if I could go back I would I don't know maybe with like Adric's death and stuff like that or Katerina's death or whatever if you could just go back you could

these are like certain fixed points in time I mean that's just to so we can't get out of the story.

In The Horror of Fang Rock, he plays Colonel Skinzail.

And in Full Circle, which introduced Adric, he plays Gareth in that serial.

So he's been in a few.

So I thought I'd mention him as well.

... yeah, but one of the things that I think, uh, old school fans, uh, probably really understand is Adric was really annoying.

So then when Adric died, it kinda hit you harder because there was a part of you-

You wanted him to die.

But he's so, like you say, he's so charming.

I, he's what I think they were going for with Adric.

And w- yet within these two episodes, it's more successful than it [laughs] ever was with Adric.
