These are the stable hits that Adam is talking about.
Phillip BlackHOST
16:37
Rivals, Adopt Me, Blox Roots, Brookhaven.
Phillip BlackHOST
16:41
These are the things that are driving the platform that are important and more integral into Roblox's long run story growth.
Phillip BlackHOST
16:48
Absolutely not.
Jen DonahoeHOST
17:25
There are elements of what both of you are saying that are absolutely true.
Jen DonahoeHOST
17:30
Phil, you're saying that there's a bulk of the games that sustain the business that are evergreen, ongoing, and they don't have those mechanics.
Jen DonahoeHOST
17:39
Adopt Me, you know, blah, blah, blah, Bloxfruit.
Jen DonahoeHOST
17:41
Yes, correct.
Eric KressHOST
32:50
And they fleeced the entire investment community that this was a sustainable model.
Phillip BlackHOST
32:54
What are you talking about shitty games like Adopt Me, Brookhaven? We were talking about those games that
Eric KressHOST
32:59
don't make money, dude.
Eric KressHOST
33:00
This is the point.
Phillip BlackHOST
33:13
But we can go to the top grossing games.
Phillip BlackHOST
33:15
I mean, Rivals has been around for a really long time.
Phillip BlackHOST
33:17
Adopt Me is around for a really long time.
Phillip BlackHOST
33:18
All these games have blocks roots.
AlbertHOST
56:11
They got the leaderboard face in the wrong way.
AlbertHOST
56:15
Stop putting me here! 2019! Adopt me! Dude, I'm gonna have...
AlbertHOST

Dude, it's showing me what it is.
AlbertHOST
56:24
Look, I just gotta...
AlbertHOST
57:21
Oh, I need money for that.
AlbertHOST
57:22
Dang.
AlbertHOST
57:24
Why not just let me have it? What? Come on, adopt me.
AlbertHOST
57:28
This is supposed to be a fun event.
CassHOST
4:09
You're looking for a way to kind of make tonight's watch party just a little bit special.
CassHOST
4:14
This is a great way to do it, and we will be there for all the away games throughout the season, so...
CassHOST
4:19
You know where we're going to be, whether it's the tailgate or we're at Electric City.
CassHOST
4:22
103.3 The Edge is out for every Bills game, okay? And then we'll get into some more stuff today.

Nope.
CassHOST

CassHOST

The speaker must hear my son playing his Switch.
CassHOST
3:34
Nope.
CassHOST

Adopt Me! has been running for nine years, and in all that time, it only ever asked players to do one thing: take something home.
speaker_3NARRATOR
2:52
That's the game.

Hello, my sleepy dream pets and welcome or welcome back to my podcast, the Adopt Me News, where I give you the tea on the updates on Ad- in Adopt Me every single week, except for last week because I was gone.
speaker_0HOST
0:12
Anyway, this week has a very interesting update.
speaker_0HOST
0:16
It is week two of the Halloween update, and we are getting a return on the Hauntlet.
speaker_0HOST
0:20
Now, full disclosure, I did not play the Hauntlet the first time it came out, but it seems like last year it was very difficult and frustrating, and Adopt Me has reduced the difficulty of the Hauntlet from 100 doors to 50 doors and also made a lot of the items much more useful.
speaker_0HOST
0:40
So that's very fun and cool.
speaker_0HOST
0:42
It looks really fun.
speaker_0HOST
1:06
I will say there-- I could not find all the information I would've liked to have for this episode, such as how you're going to get the bellhop.
speaker_0HOST
1:16
It's unclear if it's going to be Robux or candy corn.
Hayley HinkleGUEST
36:05
Um, and then there are also items that are about gameplay, that are tools to power up or level up in games.
Hayley HinkleGUEST
36:12
Um, you know, some games are about what you wear, like dress to impress, or about what you own, like, uh, little pets in Adopt Me.
Hayley HinkleGUEST
36:19
But others are about, um, you know, actual, um, what we might think of as closer to competitive traditional video games, and there's items for that as well.
Hayley HinkleGUEST
36:27
And so kids are being hit with marketing for truly hundreds of items every time they get on the platform within moments.
