Two weeks ago, Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law a new film and TV tax credit aimed at getting more post-production work back to Los Angeles.

That's things like sound mixing and visual effects, but how much of a difference will that make? Adolfo Guzman-Lopez has been looking into it, and he joins us now on this Entertainment Thursday to tell us what he has found.

So our colleague Adolfo Guzman-Lopez talked with visual effects editor Ryan Westfall.

He's been in post-production for about 20 years and he's worked on major franchises, including one of my favorite Marvel shows, Loki.

Westfall says that he's really hoping that Governor Newsom will sign this legislation because at this point he's considering moving or even changing careers.

Thank you, Nereida.
