Adirondack

Our time together was coming to an end.

Early the next morning, we would take the Amtrak Adirondack, leaving from Montreal's Windsor Station and arriving at Grand Central Station in New York City almost nine hours later.

We had not only survived, some of us just barely, but thrived, growing stronger every day as we completed close to a thousand miles on our bikes.

We had taken care of ourselves with minimal adult supervision.
