So let's get our characters on the board, starting with a couple of our heroes, and in particular, the woman who gets her revenge and her best friend.

Like, he just shows up in other people's stories.

Now, in addition to Andrew Dabb as the showrunner, cast-wise, you have Ella Balinski, Adeline Rudolph, Tamara Smart, Sienna Aguadong, Paola Nunez, and Lance Reddick.

more of him please like i i'm well aware that he that he has passed i was the most fascinated with him as as the show was going oh he was great especially because i you know at the very least even if you're just watching the movies you you hear the name wesker and you're like oh like you you know that guy you know that vibe and it's like all of a sudden seeing that as a family man it's weird

Yeah, because like it opens up and it's like you're first following Jade and then you find out that she's Jade Wesker.

And here, we finally learn why she is the way she is.

Neely has great chemistry between its supporting cast, with Grace Stoneholt's Hanson Riley, Adeline Rudolph's Renee Benwistle, and Jasper Jones' Kino, who aren't just placeholders but are battling their own challenges.

Jasper Jones' character, Kino, is a refreshing breeze and manages to sneak in and steal the limelight while lightening up what could otherwise be some rather heavy storylines about trauma and its exploitation by the unscrupulous.

Unlike the main Reacher series, which largely favors shoving away attachment with Jack Reacher coasting through life with only a toothbrush, Melee digs into deeper emotional territory and makes roots.

But to put your movie, to hinge it on her, that's a fantastic spot to put both the actress and the character.

So my props there as well to Adeline Rudolph, I believe, is Katana.

So it's nice to see somebody kind of get upped a little bit.

I think everyone... um after the first movie's like ah we're just gonna get luke hang here you know here comes ludy lynn and uh and don't get me wrong ludy lynn's badass in this movie and everyone's made to look like a badass in this movie but um it's it's from a character beaten from a story beat who can you get to kind of have a squeeze a little more than just their violence of their moves and um that's where ellen rudolph can make this character work a little bit and and and um and give this a little hemp.

We're going to show some moderation and not make him the center of everything.

And I thought that was cool.

They give the movie to, in my opinion, not only because she's fucking gorgeous, but Adeline Rudolph really steals this.

I mean, she does a fantastic job.

Jade initiates a jailbreak, letting the zombies loose.

Baxter is killed, but Jade escapes and decapitates Mother Zero, taking her head, which Jade hopes will provide a way to control the zombies.

Yeah, she's basically the star who is, like, it starts with the whole, like, idea of her alternate, her world, her dimension- Taken over by Shao Kahn ... has been taken over by Shao Ka- Kahn, and thing, like, her dad tries to defeat him and failed, and then, like, oh, you failed, so now you have to work for him.

But you're always like, yeah, but she's always gonna be- But, Kitana, you're my daughter ...

And in June, 2021, it was announced that as we've already discussed, Lance Reddick had been cast as Albert Wesker.

It's also announced that Adeline Rudolph, Sienna Agondong, Paula Nunez, excuse me, Tamara Smart and Ella Balinska had been cast in the show as well.

I don't recognize any of those people from anything outside of this show, but Lance Reddick is obviously a bigger name.

Yeah.
