can i just ask the the step from sort of the mid 70s through to that the late 70s or even on knocking on the head with the two car team how did you feel or how did you enjoy not enjoy the the fact that the commitment level was just ramping up because motorsport was ramping up there was you know there was a fair bit of cigarette money flowing through to some of those teams that you were racing against and And some would argue that, you know, you're racing in a car with your own, you know, family business name on the side of it up against the might and power of the big cigarette companies.

How did that all sort of play out in your mind? Or was it just a challenge to you to try and take it up to them in that respect?

Was there any other of the tracks around the country outside of New South Wales that you really enjoyed going to as well?

Oh, Adelaide was my favourite.

of course by then i'd traded it in and i had a ford courier oh no it was self-rocked out to this joint at adelaide international raceway and there's peter brock greg murphy um nathan pretty yeah um and a couple others all out there because they've taken his awful laps and then we had to do like a Motocana thing with this fucking fake dog, throw it in and out and all this sort of stuff.

And I won the fastest for the day.

Uh, some 12 months ago we did a bit of a show at the Adelaide International Raceway.

And, and we just give the, um, guys an opportunity to run the track under controlled-

We got, we got bored, so we went and grabbed cars and did stuff.

We were once at Queensla- at Adelaide International Raceway, Todd and Rick Kelly and I.

We got, you know, 'cause, you know, Adelaide International Raceway has a big, long front straight 'cause it's a drag strip, right? So we f- the Holden Captiva.
