Adaptive clothing

But like, do you think who you are as a designer and your approach to design both fashion and as a textile designer would have been different had those principles been incorporated within, within your education? Like within the formal parts of your education, if that makes sense.

I want to backtrack a little bit because I want to make sure that we talk about adaptive fashion also.

Because I think that my problem with the word adaptive fashion is not that it is... catering to or centering people with disabilities.

Right, that's not the issue.

That's not the issue that both of us understand because we know full well that there is a need.

yeah it's all about tailoring to specific bodies then how experience of disability not included in that every body is so different even the non-disabled bodies every body has different curves different widths different you know torso heights different limb lengths there's so much variation that It's impossible to, and that's why we have such a confusing and convoluted sizing industry.

And nobody, like regardless of disability, is able to fully understand a fit, which I just heard yesterday in Avery Truffleman's podcast, which I want to give a shout out to.
