The premise, according to IMDb, is when a rogue squad of genetically engineered super soldiers break loose in the desert, a badass army sniper must unleash hell to protect her young daughter.

Um, yeah, I mean, I thought this was fine.

Um, this is Adam Wingard returning to sort of, as you mentioned, Keegan, the guest, which is a little confused.

And I was looking forward to his new film.

I didn't realize it came out until I saw, uh, Adam Wingard's new movie is streaming in about two weeks.

So yeah, I, yeah, I thought it sounded really cool and the trailer looked really cool.

And then it came out and people were like, yeah, and I guess no one went to see it cause it's going straight on streaming.

And for my second featured review is going to be Onslaught from 2026, directed by Adam Wingard, who helped come up with the story along with Simon Barrett, who actually wrote this.

This stars Andriana Arjana, Dan Stevens, Eric Varheim.

So eggs date worth checking out.

Also got to see the new film from Adam Wingard, which came out this weekend, which is called Onslaught.

And so this is a new action horror movie.

He is describing it as like a spiritual sequel to The Guest.

Nice.

Love to see it.

But I've been a fan of Adam Wingard for a long time.

Cause I really loved your next and the guests when they came out.

It was too ambiguous, two stars.

And then against my better judgment, because I am boycotting A24, but Spencer brought up a good point, because Onslaught was definitely made and done before the Google AI deal, and I want to support my boy, Adam Wingard.

If it was any other director, I wouldn't have gone to the theater, but I really want to support Adam Wingard.

So...

It's like I was upset with myself, but I'm like, I'm here for Wingard, not A24.

I mean, this is one of their best years in a long time.

Hopefully, Adam Wingard definitely goes back to making films like this, too.

Lower budget, modestly budget movies.

Same way from the big monster creatures or sequels and remakes all that kind of stuff.
