Adam Russell Taylor

We are listening to The Underview, an exploration in the shaping of our place.

My name is Mike Rusch, and today Monica and I sit down with Reverend Adam Russell Taylor, the president of Sojourners.

Let me set the table because today answers a question we left hanging.

In our last conversation with Dr. Andrew Whitehead, he gave us the diagnosis.

All right, we've got a whole lot to work through today.

Let's get into it.

Monica and I have the privilege of sharing a table with Reverend Adam Russell Taylor, who's the president of Sojourners.

And so this is the conversation about what is a national organization and a national leader working within spaces of what faith and community and civic engagement looks like.

With Come Follow Me taking us into Isaiah over the next few weeks, we're sharing a special cross post from Proclaim Peace, which is another Faith Matters podcast that we produce with Mormon Women for Ethical Government.

In this episode, Jen and Patrick sat down with Reverend Adam Russell Taylor.

He's the president of Sojourners, a Christian nonprofit dedicated to social justice and peace.

And today they're exploring one of Adam's favorite texts in the entire Old Testament.

All right, thanks so much for listening.

We hope that you enjoyed this episode of Proclaim Peace.

If you'd like to hear more from Reverend Adam Russell Taylor, you can find his book, A More Perfect Union, wherever books are sold.

Thanks again for listening.
