He might have had an equaliser earlier, on a different day but he offers very very little if the ball's not being put on a plate for him within the 18 yard box and on one hand that is absolutely what you need from your striker to be able to finish everything in the 18 yard box and to be honest adam rooney was like that adam rooney offered relatively little other than the fact he was an unbelievable goal scorer and that's why derrick mckinnis signed three strikers every summer for eight years trying to replace him but you need, the thing is with Adam Rooney is that you had Johnny Hayes and Niall McGinn either side of them, and they were the creative force that could offer something magical on any given day, and you only ever needed one of them to be able to do that, whereas the issue is we don't have a Johnny Hayes or a Niall McGinn, and we're relying on Kevin Nisbet to dig us out of holes, and he's just not that kind of player, so yeah, there's now 35 and a half hours left in the transfer window, and I'd be surprised if Aberdeen bring anybody in because I think the focus is going to be on getting two or three more players out.

But if we were to bring anyone in, I think it needs to be a central creative midfielder.
