Yeah, we did some beautiful launch parties around the country and playing it to fans was the first time we actually got to listen to it from a different perspective because we'd just been jamming it in the studio and like every song went through so many different life forms that by the end of it we didn't know our eyes from our lips and our lips from our eyes.

So it was nice to kind of get it put in perspective, you know.

Would you ever take a Peking Duck show back to a Macca's? Have you done that yet?

Oh, that's a good idea.

No, they actually were pretty kind to us years and years ago.

Now, they let us direct an advert for them, and we had full creative control, and we made this really cool concept for a slushie they were doing.

And it was great.

Is this your first ever album together?

It is, yeah.

It's our debut album, which is a real trip.

You know, we've been on this journey together for so long now.

To think this is our first album is just, it's a beautiful thing.

We're so stoked with it, really proud of it.

And pop-up show at, we used to call it TBC, now titled The Ruck.

All the shows that we've done lately together, it feels like the next chapter in the best way possible.

It's kinda more free, more play, and it shows in the crowds, too, and from our end.

We're having more fun than ever with it, to be honest, both from a creation standpoint in the studio and then also performing.

So this is kind of the first kickoff of the next chapter.

In our heads, we've been there for a while, but-For the people that are coming to the show, they'll get to, uh, dive into paradise with us.

And, you know, when we first started, we were kids.

And so it's, it's very reminiscent of, uh, of those early times where...

And especially moving into album world, away from singles where there's a little bit of pressure.

There's no pressure with an album for any individual song to do well, so you're already just in this great head space of like, "What do we do now? What should we do? What can we...

We can do anything we want."

Like, doing regional runs has been great, but now bringing it to bigger rooms, it'll be interesting to see how it all feels with the new music.

How was it coming back together? Was it just like a creative explosion?

It all coexisted simultaneously because we've been working on this album for three years and it kind of went through a few iterations.

But where it landed, we're like, ah, this is hot.

Now let's take it to the next level and get the right people on board.
