And then I didn't know the frigging tool and had to restart the process all over again, six months later, when I was sitting in front of clients needing to make modifications or adjusted or look for finding weird little anomalies that i needed to fix so when you see people coming on to asset map what kind of like how long is it taking for the people who really do a good job like what are they doing so they're obviously investing in the the training is it them looking at do you guys have a training plan like are they getting a training plan on the schedule is it everybody on the team is learning it what are kind of the best practices

Adam HoltGUEST
You know, every practice is different these days, right? So you have small practices, a single person shop, and you have ensembles, people that have said, well, I'm good at this, you're good at that, let's team up.

Adam HoltGUEST
Every firm is so, I don't know, chaotically different because everyone is reinventing themselves and what their practice looks like.

Adam HoltGUEST
And the answer is yes, we now onboard one-on-one every single Asset Map Advisor up to three separate meetings scheduled one-on-one over obviously zoom uh with an onboarding advisor and that has really really i think changed the nature of how people accelerate at their own pace because if you're gung-ho and you took the whole night and you're like i'm obsessed i'm going to learn everything and you come to that meeting you're going to be differently empowered right there's someone's going to be able to accelerate you right you you if you came to if you came to the gym and you already did all your stretching you're going to have a much better experience with your with your trainer Versus, okay, that's how you tie your shoes.

Adam HoltGUEST
And like, so you can always tell who's really committed to the investment they've made and wants the outcome versus somebody who's like, I was kind of, I was curious and I was, yeah, I just want to try it.

And so speaking of data, how, when it comes to the team, is the suggestion from you guys, so AssetMap or another tool, does everybody on the team need to know the tool?

when you know to be one percent better and how how do you define measuring that like you have some kind of scoreboard or something like we're running it like eos or it's hard to do that but we know that either our mindsets or our actions are going to impact the choices and what we actually do right so i think for us at least in the book one of the things we realize is we have to give We have to give dads something to not get stuck in thinking about doing it perfectly or else I'm not going to do anything.

Adam HoltGUEST
Can you just try this? Like, for example, in the next 24 hours, here's one of the fathers said that it was really important for him to connect and create a shared space with his child so that he would avoid the lying.

Matt AckermanHOST
Like, how do you kind of set those guardrails when you know it is part of what they are, who they are and what they do? How do you get those kind of guardrails on and make for better? What if the conversation has been like around technology? This has not been an easy one.

Families dealing with abuse and alcoholism, uh, families with no fathers, families where someone had an epiphany and came back to fatherhood, and, uh, also stories of, like, great joy and successes with kids.

Adam HoltGUEST
And, and, and the key is to, to find those themes took a lot of effort to say, "Hey, this is a theme that we should work on." There's no perfect, you know, category box for all of this, these lessons, but I think the key is if we could start to focus on some of these things on the daily, um, that would be...

Adam HoltGUEST
It's one of the reasons why we had to stop our podcast for last year, because it just, this took over our life outside of work.
