Adam Goucher

It wasn't his choice.

But I think it was super good 'cause he told Adam and I that when he was running he wasn't, like, thinking about the future.

He was just, like, in the moment hearing himself breathe.

Yeah.

I mean, I, I loved the World Road Championships.

Yeah.

I, I gotta say, even old, old Adam Goucher was like, "Damn, that looks fun.

I wish I'd been able to do that," you know?

I talked in the running summit that we did.

I read Running with the Buffaloes about Adam Goucher, who's Kerry Goucher's husband now.

And that turned me on to CU.

So I wanted to go to CU and be Adam Goucher and run with Katie Kassane at CU.

And so I went to CU Boulder and I kept trying to run more and more, but I kept getting injured.

I kept getting knee pain and shin pain and foot issues.
