So talk us through how you got
3:46
there.
3:48
Well, it's a long journey, I guess, really.
3:50
I sort of really worked my way up from about as basic as it gets, really.
3:55
I mean, my first work in the media was out of a caravan in a supermarket car park, so...
4:01
I started off and really learnt my trade and worked my way up, I suppose you could say, from local radio, regional radio, bits of national radio, and then I started doing TV on club TV channels, did things for Everton, Portsmouth, and just worked my way up very gradually over time and then started to do what we call in the industry World Feed Games, European matches, that you don't tend to see in this country, but go out abroad.
4:32
Um, we're just any TV network around the world.

23 MINS LATER

27:19
much.
8:20
What do you make of what shape we're in coming out of the window?
8:23
Good.
8:24
I mean, I was at the game against Liverpool at the weekend and I have to say that I thought Forest looked a lot more cohesive unit than Liverpool did.
8:31
Certainly looked a lot more of a team, which when you consider, you know, how the short time that Glasner has been there, I was really impressed with how much of a team, as I say, how cohesive they looked.
8:41
They were everything in some ways that Liverpool weren't.
8:43
All the connections around the pitch for Liverpool looked really off.
8:47
Obviously, Forrest were playing in a different way to Liverpool, but I was quite impressed by that.

13:27
Sorry, go on.
22:55
Do you think there'll be a noticeable drop-off from City this season under Maresca?
23:01
Well, you never really want to be the next man in after somebody like Pep Guardiola.
23:06
Just like I can imagine, you know, for David Moyes following Sir Alex Ferguson, incredibly difficult.
23:13
Equally following Arsene Wenger, I suppose you could say on a slot, it looked like he booked that trend, didn't it? When he won the title in the first season at Liverpool.
23:20
But then we all know what happened in the second season.
23:23
I think following somebody who's been so dominant in terms of their entire personality as Pep Guardiola has been at City for 10 years is going to be exceptionally difficult for Maresca.
23:34
Yeah, I love Elliot Anderson.
25:20
yeah I think so too so I take it you have Arsenal first who makes up the rest of your top four yeah

Apology
12:56
... and change it several times.
12:58
[laughs] I think, I think we all agree that first is, I wouldn't say nailed on, but, uh, they're, they're clear favorites.
13:03
Inter, beyond that, I think you could take, um, the next sort of six teams and put...
13:08
You could make a case for most of them to be in any particular order, to be honest.
13:12
I think it could be quite tight in that respect.
13:14
And Milan are the team out of them all who I think are, there's the most variables, and they're the, the least predictable in terms of where they will finish.

15 MINS LATER

28:08
[laughs]
7:44
What do you think about that figure?
7:45
Yeah, I, I would be nervous at those levels of money, I think.
7:48
I, I think you're...
7:49
You know, for somebody who's got, what, two and a half seasons of, um, work, and, and he played for Vélez Sarsfield in Argentina before that.
7:58
And I have seen signs of, of a player who could kick on.
8:01
But I think at that level of money, I think you would want more.
8:05
I mean, there's no such thing in a transfer as a guarantee.

14 MINS LATER

21:47
So, uh, well, Adam, feel free to comment on Dan and Doey, but mostly comment on, uh, Jhon Lucumi and tell us about him.
11:32
It just feels like it wasn't working and he's kind of said, hey, maybe I should go.
11:38
Yeah, well, I'd covered the game the day before, the Spanish Super Cup final.
11:42
I did that for TNT Sports.
11:44
It was a brilliant game to watch.
11:46
Finished 3-2 to Barcelona.
11:48
I thought Barcelona probably did do enough to win the game.
11:51
They looked the better side in terms of a cohesive unit.

9 MINS LATER

20:25
interim or caretaker when Solskjaer got the sack, wasn't he?
