You had the Keegan Rosenberry 40 yard, um, bloop, uh, to the outfield in Toronto back on Easter weekend that, uh, Zach Stephan just doesn't get enough of.

You have, more recently, the heavy touch by Adam Beaudry not having situational awareness and then not defending that well to where then St. Louis has a tap-in to open the scoring in the Open Cup semifinal.

And then now you have Nico Hansen.

I would say the Hansen one, Mark, I think is the most damning because...

And while we're not going to talk about that move just in a vacuum, Mark, I do think it's an interesting question about where the Rapids are at with their goalkeeper depth and that pipeline.

Because Chris Sharpie is heavily involved in the goalkeeper academy setup.

at the club and he every couple years has a guy who he really likes who he thinks at the minimum should be given a chance to be the starter for a full season at rapids 2 and now they've signed a couple of homegrown deals abe rodriguez signed a homegrown deal spent most of that time with rapids 2 got one start and then got cut because he didn't keep growing and clearly he was stunting the potential uh pathway for future players and Adam Beaudry has come in, obviously has a lot of measurables, has a lot of things that you really like about him, has not really broken into the first team despite injuries at other positions, has looked OK at times, obviously had that really bad howler against St. Louis.

But the word on the street coming into 2026 was that he was going to go out on loan and he just needed a good situation where he could play regular minutes, be a starter for a year and then help them elevate his game, given that he wasn't competing with Nico Hansen and certainly wasn't competing with Zach Steffen.

I think that game is kind of in its own vacuum just because of the timing, given the end of the transfer window and Morgan Whitaker inside of Abu Farki not making their debuts, but making their first starts for the club, I thought played a factor, played a role.

And I didn't get a sense that Tom was trying to diminish the work that Yohan was doing, the players were doing.

But at the same time, especially when you're talking about high-press turnovers on a goalkeeper, which Adam Beaudry had himself a horrible night.

This was a disaster for the 20-year-old U.S. goalkeeper.

Just a really poor performance.
