You got some folks that are just pretty dedicated to the ActivityPub world, and we've been doing a lot more outreach to those folks.

One of the framing devices that you use in that is talking about App Proto as a data replication protocol.

And you sort of hint at that in this blog post, but I don't know.

I think it'd be interesting to talk about that for a second because that really answers the question of like, Why not ActivityPub? Why not RSS? And it's like, well, it's just kind of a different problem, you know?

So it's not just a replacement for the legacy website.

It also has capability to share stuff on the Fediverse.

It's a culture issue, not a tech issue.

It will make use of Smart Social, and it will also make use of ActivityPub, and it will also make use of Activity Streams, and it will make use of a lot of modern and forward-looking technologies in addition to some of the older stuff.
