I advised my students this morning, just this morning, I said, look, you're coming into the autumn, you're coming into the winter.

get yourselves your Actimel or your Yakult or whatever it is to colonise those good bugs.

Because what they do essentially is the good ones will competitively inhibit the bad ones.

So they'll colonise the gastrointestinal tract and they secrete molecules called short-chain fatty acids like butyrate, which is an anti-inflammatory molecule.

Look, I know people say like, "Oh, there's worse things your fella could be doing.

He's only getting a bit of yogurt, a few Actimels." Like, but honest to God, that's so bad.
