Acid Tongue

So Holly, what is your favorite album?

Acid Tongue by Jenny Lewis.

Let's start with your sort of origin story.

Sure.

I know that it was supposed to be like, it was supposed to mimic live performance like you were sitting in the room, and I, I think it really, really works.

Every song, like the continuity in terms of production, it just seems like there was such a clear vision from her and the team that she was working with where it was like everything that was put into it really upheld that intention.

And like, just like some of the songs, like I think about Acid Tongue, the, this title track, it's literally sounds like someone's just sitting in this room.

You know, like s- you're in the room with them.
