Acid Pro

I'm like, bro, I'm going to make these guys learn an instrument because eventually it can lead into like, again, your production side.

yeah and that was that was really the in for me at that point because i like anyone would know back in the day you know like all those dj noise remixes and all the and and i jumped on this program called um acid pro and it's it's kind of like the new programs that you use these days where you put in instrumentals and throw a completely different songs acapella on top of it make a remix started doing all that playing some keys over it I sent some like beats that I made and I was like in religion class and I just used to make beats and instead of doing my work, don't do that.

But yeah, and then I sent beats off to like a couple of the like local boys and yeah, to be honest, like I wasn't like super happy with like the result that I got back.

And then, yeah, I think I just, one day I gave it a crack and I wasn't great at like rap or rapping or singing, even though I grew up like singing predominantly.

And at that point, technology was still evolving, right? So I had my computer at home.

I was using Sony Acid Pro to make my music.

But I thought I had a really cool idea where I thought to myself, I said, self, what if we got the kids making songs? But instead of writing and composing their own full song, which was really cumbersome and challenging, I said, let's just use things that kids recognize.

And so I brought in karaoke CDs for holiday music.

I don't know if you remember.

It sound- started with Acid Pro, that's how I learned.

I tried when I was young and it was very easy with things like Acid Pro.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with that program.
