JohnHOST
11:33
I, I'm on, I've been on and off with it.
JohnHOST
11:35
I liked Ace Combat 6 when that came out.
JohnHOST
11:38
That was on the 360.
JohnHOST
11:39
I remember playing it.
JP WentzPANELIST
9:46
...
JP WentzPANELIST
9:46
Ace Combat 6.
John RicciardiHOST
9:47
I was wondering-
Mark MacDonaldHOST
9:47
[laughs]
John RicciardiHOST
9:47
... is it not on PS3?
JP WentzPANELIST
9:49
No.
JP WentzPANELIST
9:49
Ace Combat 6 is an Xbox 360 exclusive.
Mark MacDonaldHOST
9:52
What?
NickHOST
52:04
Uh, but yeah, it's still very good.
NickHOST
52:05
Uh, Ace Combat 6 technically.
NickHOST
52:07
Uh, I beat Ace Combat 6 for my first run.
NickHOST
52:11
I have plans, of course, you know, once-
WillHOST
52:12
I have plans
Psy WhiteHOST
24:14
Yeah?'Cause I'm kind of in- I'm interested, you know
Ewan PatersonHOST
24:17
I think for me it's, it's kind of funny because Ace Combat 6 was my into the series.
Ewan PatersonHOST
24:22
Like, I played a little-
Psy WhiteHOST
24:22
Right
Psy WhiteHOST
24:31
[laughs]
Ewan PatersonHOST
24:31
But it kinda came out at the same time.
Ewan PatersonHOST
24:33
And the same way that Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare was a great into Call of Duty, Ace Combat 6 was also that great in.
Psy WhiteHOST
24:38
Right.
Jesse CoxHOST
63:59
First off, based on everyone's response to this game so far, I must stress, if you've never played an Ace Combat, this is the one to join.
Jesse CoxHOST
64:07
In the past, like Ace Combat 6, Ace Combat 7, it felt like you kind of needed to be in Ace Combat to get it.
Jesse CoxHOST
64:13
This is like...
Jesse CoxHOST
64:17
Its own get in there.

10 MINS LATER

Jesse CoxHOST
74:11
Like, it's what got me into the franchise.
Jesse CoxHOST
74:14
Ace Combat 0 is very good.
Jesse CoxHOST
74:15
But ever since, like, you know, Ace Combat Assault Horizon, Ace Combat 6, it's whatever.
Jesse CoxHOST
74:21
Ace Combat 7 was fun, mostly because it was like a continuation of 5.
JohnHOST
6:32
... that, I remember getting that.
JohnHOST
6:32
And I think it was Ace Combat 6, and I remember getting that and I was like, "This is awesome." Um, but even before that Ace Combat I was kinda in and out of the series then on, like, the PS2 and stuff.
JohnHOST
6:43
But I'm, I'm looking forward to this one.
JohnHOST
6:44
People...
EricHOST
12:01
uh no i haven't played anything since ps1 ace combat
AlexHOST
12:07
Yeah, and what's funny is that this is the only one that actually remained 360 exclusive it never made it to ps3 actually noise I think only the Belkan pilots I think was the one that came to ps3 But it was like Ace Combat 6 was the only one that came to Xbox and Ace Combat was very ps2 like PlayStation coded for like freaking forever So you can look it up.
AlexHOST
12:27
I wonder how rare they
EricHOST
12:28
are Mm-hmm.
AlexHOST
15:55
It doesn't really have a dud.
AlexHOST
15:57
They don't happen with like much frequency.
AlexHOST
15:59
Like literally, guess when Ace Combat 6 came out? Just through a year.
EricHOST
16:05
2009.
Brett ElstonHOST
13:23
I'm emoting, if you could just see it, like a plane doing this.
Brett ElstonHOST
13:27
But that's a little bit closer to not full flight sim, but gives you a little more control if you feel like, hey, I'd like to play a little more closely to an aircraft dogfight, and When the game gets going and there's like multiple planes and there's ground targets and ever since Ace Combat 6 and then 7 and now with 8, there's just some really elaborate set pieces, tons of targets, tons of chaos going on.
Brett ElstonHOST
13:47
And that's one of my favorite parts of the game and the series is when there's just like the first few missions are really simple, just get you in.
Brett ElstonHOST
13:54
And then as it gets going, you're like, wow, this is a fully active battlefield with all this stuff going on.
