But one of the things that the highlight in the motorcycle world that I did when I was last in London is I took a car out to the Ace Cafe.
MattHOST
79:17
So.
MattHOST
79:18
I don't know if you've ever been out there.
MattHOST

Anyway, that was just kind of like getting over there and like the birth of that, you know, the English bike and, you know, the BSAs and Triumphs and Royal Enfields and the Ace Cafe and stuff.
MattHOST

It sort of went away for a long time, but it came back and it was originally a revival set up by the Ace Cafe in London to celebrate the old rides when all the old, you know, in the 50s and the 60s, everybody used to start at the Ace Cafe and ride down to Brighton.
DarrenHOST

DarrenHOST

DarrenHOST
29:47
So we catch about the last 25 miles of the ride.
DarrenHOST
29:51
and you ride in and it's basically thousands of thousands of motorbikes on the seafront and they have live music and merchandise and some old classic bikes on display and it's a it's a good fun day out if you get there at the right time if you get a wrong time too late you miss the ride and everybody they've already all arrived yeah

Like, when I was talking to, let's say, the Blood Bikers Association, uh, um, president or, sorry, chairman in the UK, they deliver, uh, blood to, uh, [smacks lips] to hospitals after hours.
Aaron PufalGUEST

Well, I also did an interview with Sam Meinikam in the Ace Cafe, and then I also did an interview with someone from the 59 Club.
Aaron PufalGUEST
74:57
Well, it turns out that the 59 Club originated in the Ace Cafe, the, and those people eventually delivered blood, and they were the genesis of the Blood Bikers.
Aaron PufalGUEST
75:08
And I had no idea until after.
Aaron PufalGUEST
75:09
I felt really dumb about it.
