Academy Award for Best Film Editing

But that being said, this movie, the actual picnic itself, all takes place on Labor Day, which was September 5th, 1955, which is minute one of the movie, which is an hour and 55 minutes in length.

And when it came to the Academy Awards for that particular season, it actually ended up winning for Best Art Direction and Best Film Editing and got nominations for Best Supporting Actor for Arthur O'Connell, Best Director, Best Original Musical Score, and Best Picture.

And as it is the 6th of September, we are going to be watching The Sting from 1973.

Directed by George Roy Hill and starring Paul Newman.

I feel like the only thing it maybe, yeah, like Score it could sure take, but I'm not feeling-

believe this movie was made for $48

million.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit was also nominated for a ton of Oscars.

Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Film Editing, which it won.

Best Sound, Best Sound Effects Editing, back when that was two categories, which it won.

Best Visual Effects, which it won.

IMDb rating for Since You Went Away, 7.5. Rotten Tomatoes, two different scores, are critics' tomato meters at 77%, audience scores at 79%.

It did win an Academy Award for Best Original Score, nominated for several other categories, Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Production Design, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, Best Film Editing.

I will say, especially for the last two An incredible palette when you are watching this movie.

So much visually, almost like a flood of all of the design that goes into this movie.
