Abyssinian

Okay.

My sister used to breed Abyssinian cats.

Okay.

And she had lots of books.

And in the books, there were these little bits of history about where the Abyssinian breed came from.

And there was a whole section on cat mummies and how the role of cats played out in ancient Egypt.

So that kind of started it.

[laughs]

... because I need an Abyssinian to stand up and to say racism will not be tolerated in the state of New York.

[clapping]

And I've come here today to remind all of you of the precious right to vote and how our ancestors died for that right.

And we noticed this van that used to be parked outside my house in LA.

And, uh, one day she had, uh, two Abyssinian cats, two beautiful Abyssinian cats.

And I went out one day in the patio in the back, and I found this pile of fur in a pile, and then I followed it, and then I saw a cat's leg And then basically, these guys had dismembered her two cats a- all the way a- across the yard.

And, um, I remember talking to the, um, to the police, you know, what was going on.

She was like, what if we had like an Egyptian cat just kind of sitting there on like a pillow? And I was like, I mean, that's cute as long as it looks Egyptian.

So it's an Abyssinian cat, which is one of the types of Egyptian cats from the ancient world and which I think that Anchovy is low key like.

mostly Abyssinian

absolutely this cat literally looks like an Egyptian cat like long body nose it's wacky

he has the tiniest head the longest body and I keep waiting for him to grow into it but now he's like over two and he that's just that's his shape

He's got the long legs.

He's got the funny little face.

Yeah, it's funny because like I'm convinced that he has this Abyssinian cat in him.
