Justin PeachHOST
21:53
Segatic has had to field a lot of burden creatively as well.
Justin PeachHOST
21:57
Abu Kamara, others, they all need to step up and produce.
Justin PeachHOST
22:01
And they've still got Josh Murphy to come in as well.
Justin PeachHOST
22:03
And these are really important things that are going to hopefully transform the way Portsmouth play and hopefully give John Mocenio a little bit more than what he's got.
Steve BoneGUEST
5:03
Certainly he could have seen off PX Oto.
Steve BoneGUEST
5:07
Wolves were a moany bunch, weren't they? I mean, if you're going to be hit by anybody, frankly, let it be Abu Kamara.
Steve BoneGUEST
5:17
and the guy wasn't really hit they went up for the ball together uh kamara's arms therefore his elbow were up at shoulder height which is what happens when you you jump for the ball as much as anything else you're protecting yourself if you feel that the guy you're going up against is likely to leave bits and pieces hanging around and then you're going to come down with a bruise in the morning So I don't think Kamara did anything wrong.
Steve BoneGUEST
5:42
And Guy Whittingham, who knows more about this than just about anybody, said it was a perfectly reasonable jump.

Milovanovic! Yeah,
Jake SmithHOST
0:49
Pompey's big, friendly Serbian adding to his tally from the spot at Carrow Road the weekend after Abu Kamara won the Blues a penalty.
Jake SmithHOST
0:59
That the only goal of the game and a much needed three points.
Jake SmithHOST
1:03
The second successive championship victory for John Messina's side for the first time this season.
Jake SmithHOST
1:07
This season, we mentioned Jojo, but Jojo Deer with his name echoing around East Anglia at the weekend, his name sung out by the Pompey faithful and a man of the match performance to boot as well.
Jake SmithHOST
1:19
We'll talk about his display, Marco Milovanovic's latest goal for the football club, Abu Kamara, putting in a contribution to that victory and everything that went down at Carrow Road on Saturday between now and seven o'clock, but also hear from the match with himself.
Jake SmithHOST
1:35
It was a tough moment for us,
Marko MilovanovicSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
1:36
but we showed that we are strong as a team, as a group, and we now won two games in a
TomHOST
36:47
I think actually this was probably his slightly quieter game.
TomHOST
36:50
I think today, I think Abu Kamara, I think, won the penalty.
TomHOST
36:53
And he's been good, just slightly less eye-catching than Kavama McQueen, who is still very, very young, but is a really exciting, exciting player.
TomHOST
37:05
And he's not quite got the goal or assist return yet, but...
Benjamin BloomHOST
61:44
He's going to be in bother, isn't he? Pompey play well in the first half, according to John Mucinio, but they wait till the second half to get the goal.
Benjamin BloomHOST
61:52
Abu Kamara, formerly of Norwich, nicks in front, I think.
Benjamin BloomHOST
61:56
Is it Jacob Wright? It says in my notes.
Benjamin BloomHOST
61:59
And wins the penalty.
Brendan TuttiettGUEST
20:21
Paddy Lane in our lives.
Jake SmithHOST
20:22
We'll delve more into the Abu Kamara situation and certainly the performances of the attacking players later on in the programme.
Jake SmithHOST
20:28
Very quickly, Brendan, Sheffield United's goals, 59 in 66 minutes, two in the space of seven minutes altogether.
Jake SmithHOST
20:35
Javid Tanganga with the first one.

8 MINS LATER

Jake SmithHOST
28:44
Good to score with three goals at home, but to concede two in eight minutes against ten men is criminal.
Jake SmithHOST
28:49
Interesting comparison between our two wingers.
Jake SmithHOST
28:51
If only we can get Abu Kamara to play with a bit more physicality and courage in the way that Kavuma McQueen plays.
Jake SmithHOST
28:57
I know they're different players, but the young loony isn't afraid to get hurt and bounce off players.
Jimmy SmithHOST
29:17
Segacic wasn't in, it was Shade, and it was Colby Bishop up front, and now they've got Milanovic, or Milovanovic.
Jimmy SmithHOST
29:25
Uh, but Abu Kamara and Kavuma McQueen, who I, I really like the look of Kavuma McQueen.
Jimmy SmithHOST
29:30
He's, uh, he's on loan from Chelsea, young kid.
Jimmy SmithHOST
29:33
He's on the left-hand side.
Simon LilliburyHOST
48:39
Segovic obviously got the goal, uh, in this one as well, but he's got real, real quality and I can see him playing higher in the division at some stage.
Simon LilliburyHOST
48:47
And Abu Kamara, still yet to see a little bit more from him actually.
Simon LilliburyHOST
48:49
But those three behind the striker I think are good enough to get them out and get-- keep them competitive in most games.
Simon LilliburyHOST
48:55
Sheffield United, yeah, I think they did well, to be honest, to fight back from 2-0 down, but ultimately they've, they've ended up on the losing side, um, again.
Jimmy SmithHOST
11:22
It, it looked like he were lining up as a 10, then he went on the, the left-hand side and he swapped there with, um, Kavuma-McQueen and, uh, who was the other...
Jimmy SmithHOST
11:32
Kamara, Abu Kamara, who I haven't mentioned yet as well.
Jimmy SmithHOST
11:34
So they sort of had a bit of a, a floating role between and switching positions quite a bit.
Jimmy SmithHOST
11:39
N- not really setting up in the way you'd expect.
Jimmy SmithHOST
12:03
[chuckles] Go on.
DaveGUEST
12:05
I don't really know.
DaveGUEST
12:06
Uh, uh, to be honest, um, Kamara's a player that I've seen before and thought I don't mind him.
DaveGUEST
12:11
I'm not-
Jake SmithHOST
27:15
Nicholas Schmid in goal, Sax Swanson, Regan Paul, Jojo Deer, Jadon Magoma at the back, Marlon Pack and Ibu Adams in midfield.
Jake SmithHOST
27:22
And then a three behind Colby Bishop of Ryan Kavuma and McQueen on the right-hand side, Abu Kamara in the middle, that number 10 role, and Tyree Shade on the left-hand side.
Jake SmithHOST
27:32
Shade not necessarily out of position as such, but Kamara and Kavuma and McQueen in a maybe unnatural place themselves to what they are used to at this football club.
Jake SmithHOST
27:43
We'll come on to Schmidt in a minute, returning to the club, Tom, or returning to the line-up.
Jake SmithHOST
27:47
What did you make of that change and certainly a bold move and a big game for John?
Tom ChappellGUEST
27:52
yeah i think he was i mean reading between the lines again again john massino's not here to defend himself but i would imagine the uh abu coming inside i wonder if he's just got a little bit more or had a little bit more confidence and faith in brian kavuma mcqueen's ability to track his runner back in in as much of a defensive sense as he does in an attacking and i know that's maybe something that abu kamara's gamers have aided him so far he's certainly not quite as good at it as ryan kavuma queen has kind of demonstrated to be um having said that i i didn't think it works i think it was a risk that didn't quite come off playing abu in the 10 he's quite clearly not a natural 10 he's always played his best football at this football club and during his young professional career as a whole really as a right winger in my opinion okay he's done a job on the left hand side for us on the odd occasion but as a right winger I've always felt like we get the best out of Abu Kamara so when that team news dropped and we're all contained in and around the St Mary's away and at that point as we were there hideously early as everybody knows everyone sort of getting it through and trying to work out exactly what he's doing.
Tom ChappellGUEST
29:04
Were we going to play shade in the 10 behind Bishop? Was he going for the two up top? What was he actually going to do? So there was a lot of confusion there.
Tom ChappellGUEST
29:10
And then when it did come out, then obviously we could see it with our own eyes that Abby was playing in the 10.
