This week is starting strong with a couple of absolute titles.

There's three major ones this week for us, including Absolute Batman, Absolute Wonder Woman, and Absolute Flash.

I can't wait for that Absolute Batman issue to be worth $500 the second it comes out.

Hey, Absolute Green Lantern is coming.

It was at New York Comic Con when they announced Absolute Martian, Manhunter, Absolute Flash, and Absolute Green Lantern.

Hey, these are going to be the second wave of Absolute books.

And they said that Absolute Green Lantern is going to be – All the Green Lanterns are going to show up.

A brilliant and very hard-to-read issue, as the truth behind Benedict Arnold's return is revealed, Simon Pure has to make a key decision about his future, and we're set for probably the most brutal battle of the entire series so far.

But I have to give number one this week to Absolute Flash, number 16, which sees Absolute Batman and Absolute Green Arrow trying to be disturbing and goes, Oh, you sweet summer child.

As Wally West tries to find a haven with Ralph and Sue Dibney, a pair of new villains, Hunter Zolomon and a fascinating reinvention of one of Wally's most terrifying villains originally, make their entrance on the behest of the deo featuring some of the most disturbing and surreal visuals i've ever seen straight out of mystery flesh pit national park it's amazing how every absolute book is just completely different from the other but they all fit together so perfectly into this general theme and it's it's easily the best line in comics at the moment until next week this has been the comics countdown

DC's September schedule is starting to get messy with Absolute Flash, Bleeding Hearts of Zatanna, and now Gotham Central all moving around.

Marvel's DNX event has also slipped two weeks, creating some interesting scheduling problems of its own.

Danny Elfman is joining Kristen Ritter for Bad Ideas.

And I'll talk about maybe some of the reasons for that, or maybe some of the reasons I should say that DC might not be so worried about that.

We'll talk about that in a second.

But specifically, Absolute Flash 19, which was scheduled for September 16th, is now coming September 23rd.

Bleeding Hearts is the biggest delay.

It was originally supposed to come out next week on September 9th.
