Anything that keeps coming back and you're like, why is my horse not healing? Why is this taking so long to heal? Abscesses.

Yes, abscesses of any kind.

Most of the time you think abscesses in the feet, right? But if you've got any abscesses, kind of anywhere, tooth abscesses, anything like that, it should really kind of just make a little thing go ding in your head and think, hmm, PPID maybe, and chat to your vet.

okay so like for us you know eastern oregon here we just we just can't even believe that like what would that even look like right well it means a lot of mud and when you got horses especially in smaller pins that means a lot of mud and then your round pin is a swimming pool And you got horses that are getting mud fever, you know, the fungal infections on their hocks or pasterns or along their back, rain scald it's called, you know? And it's just, I mean, it just goes on and on, right? Abscesses in their feet because they're standing around in the mud because you don't have nice stalls for them to stand in, you know? all this stuff.

And so the perseverance came into it because of all those things.
