Abraham Romero

But Dolan Meyer, Ortiz, and Alfaro put in 21 clearances between the three of them.

absolute comfort i thought abraham romero had a very solid game in what is clearly a contested goalkeeper position so that gives you the backstop and then you have the flow going upfield on the counter right i'm on a moreno excellent as a carrier constantly drawing Shantosh out of position, Mendes, the vision as a passer, the off-ball movement, occupying bodies, Rubin gets the goal to make it 2-0, those three as the extension that can break out of the defensive zone and put opponents to the sword, you can't do better than that if you're the locomotive.

Yeah, yeah.

I was just going to say, I think it's one of the big surprises of the season that it's just come to the point now at this stage where Tony Alfaro and Palermo Ortiz are, like, worthy of high degrees of trust at this stage.

defensively over the last stretch.

I was doing some of the research earlier and some of it, like we were talking about it, is maybe just down to the goalkeeping.

Like Abraham Romero was awful the first half of the season.

He was the third worst goalkeeper in the league in terms of goals prevented.
