Now her family is suing Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, the Texas Medical Board executive director, UT Health San Antonio, and several doctors who treated her.

And this case really comes down to one big argument: Did Texas's abortion law stop doctors from giving Walker the care she needed? Her family's attorneys say yes.

They argue Texas's strict abortion restrictions have created so much fear among doctors that some are afraid to perform an abortion even when a mother's life may be in danger.

But Texas did have an exception for medical emergencies, and there is a disagreement over whether Walker's death was caused by the abortion law itself or by failures in her medical care.

Doctors who reviewed the case for CBS criticized the decision to send Walker home with severe preeclampsia.

One anti-abortion physician group also said her death appeared preventable, but argued the problem was inadequate medical care, not Texas's abortion law, and that is now what a court will have to sort out.

So this is Elizabeth Munt.

She's a New Zealand first candidate and a city councillor in Christchurch.

And she posted a video over the weekend about New Zealand's abortion laws, talking about abortion up to birth, that no fetal anaesthetic is given in abortions, and a few other facts.

Well, that got the Liberals very, very upset.

And why I wanted to share this is not so much that she made the post, but Stuff yesterday ran a piece, a supposed fact-checking piece, on what she says.

we want to start out father just to get your read uh what first of all What happened in Massachusetts and then over in Michigan? Of course, we're talking about these atrocious abortion laws.

Can you speak to it, Father?

Yeah, and I had mentioned, we were talking about this, that I was born and raised in Michigan.

Now they're winning primaries in places, well, they won one in Florida, of all places.

You've got an Islamic center that's been 7-0 approved to be built in McKinney, Texas, right there in the Dallas-Fort Worth, which is another Islamic center now, even though there is concern that it's being operated in that area with Sharia law that's already operating in different communities.

So we're seeing, again, the communism, these abortion laws getting more egregious.

We're seeing Islam rise up.

So you do believe that women who, um, are forced into pregnancy ...

So actually, that's ac- that's actually an interesting point that I wanna, that I wanna bring up.

Um, so let's look at, um, the states with these, the strictest abortion laws, right? Total ban states, trigger ban states.

Um, in these states, girls ages 12 and up can be forced to give birth to a child that was conceived through rape and incest, right, at any point in the pregnancy.

So if you're in the state of Tennessee, and you're a 12-year-old girl, you can get raped by your own father, and then be forced to give birth to this child.
