Abed Nadir

So we have just fallen back.

And so every year when we spring forward and when we fall back, There's this wonderful scene in the TV show Community where one of my favorite characters, Abed Nadir, is the other characters are trying to explain daylight savings time.

And it's like, oh, but you get the hour back in about six months and Abed just screams.

And that's kind of how my body feels right now is I just want to scream like my body doesn't know what time it is.

Because it's not one that I've seen.

This was actually said by Danny Pudi, who was playing Abed Nadir dressed up as Abed Nadir.

I forgot!

He's a big community head.

He explains the premise of the movie.

The most Abed Nadir-like response

ever.

Literally, the way he explained and corrected everything he said, I was like...

Oh, I've seen the montage of that happening, yeah.

There's another episode where they're talking to Abed and Abed's like, oh yeah, I've delivered a baby.

And they're like, what? And he goes, I don't even remember that time I delivered a baby.

And if you go back, there's an episode where Abed isn't in the episode.

He's in the background of the episode.

And it's a full story of a couple meeting, getting married and having a baby.

And it's just this whole episode where there's a whole other story going on in the background.

If you don't look, you don't notice.

We never know.

One of my favorite bits on Community was, um, they had a whole episode where Abed took a Nicolas Cage class to be like, "Is Nicolas Cage a good actor or a bad actor?"

And Abed took it too far and watched all of his stuff.

And Danny Pudi gives one of my favorite Nicolas Cage impressions when he's having his breakdown in his presentation.
