Abdi Bashir Jr.

CJ, friend of the show, CJF Writes.

Guards, Donovan Dent, Sky Clark, Abdi Bashir Jr., who shot the lights out last week versus UCF.

Devine, I'm not going to try and say it.

I butcher it all the time, but he's a transfer from Tom Izzo.

Those guys certainly are going to be factors for you.

You've got Abdi Bashir as well.

Those are your five guys that have started in exhibitions.

And then you do have Austin Nunez, who's hurt and is in a boot, but theoretically will come back at some point and help you.

You've got Bryce Desair still sitting out there.

You've got Sky Clark, who you would love to have as a shooter on this team, who is a really good shooter.

If you can put Sky Clark and Abdi Bashir on wings, that's a nightmare for teams to try to defend.

But you need help in the frontcourt.

It was like you said, having Donovan Dent, that's nice.

I mean, Abdi Bashir, I think could be fantastic for them.

And you've got some experience, of course, with somebody like Mo D. all that.

So it would be a really good roster if all of these guys get eligible.

You've got Mohamed Diabate, and not much else.

That is an assurance for this team.

Abdi Bashir as well.

Abdi Bashir, nice three-point shooter.

Donovan Dent was terrific in the game.

Abdi Bashir, who was awful against McNeese, he hit six threes, which is something that he's capable of doing.

Mo Diabate had a good game.

The Michael Rusich dude that Arkansas was connected with had another solid performance in the post.

But your starting five, the same starting five that you had in Lake Charles last week, was Mo Diabate, who played 35 minutes, was Michael Rujic, who played 38 minutes of the 40.

Abdi Bashir played every second.

Divine Ogechukwu played 39 minutes out of 40.

And Jordan Bender, as I mentioned, gave you 10 minutes off the bench.

And so they've got some pieces here.

There's no question Donovan Dent is an SEC-level point guard, a high-level SEC point guard.

To me, I think Abdi Bashir is a high-level SEC shooter.

Mo Diabate has proven himself at Kentucky to be an SEC-level three or four.

So [laughs] they're, they have at least five players.

Um, you had Donovan Den, a point guard, uh, Divine, uh, Ukachukwu, uh, Abdi Bashir, uh, Mo, uh, Dioubate, and Michael Ruzick.

Um, that's more than they had listed this time last week.

Um, they now have 10 players listed on the roster, only seven recorded minutes for the McNeese game.

Mo Dioubate.

Abdi Bashir is one of the best shooters.

It's a really good team.

It's just that four of those guys I named might not play.
